I totally missed the psionic trap. I think it would be better to paint it before it is triggered, in order to see it's shape clearly. As for the blades, it's more of a dagger than a energy projectile. I really don't know how refraction could be done more suggestively. Maybe painting a small zone where Lanaya appears to be, like looking at fished in a tank from through 2 different surfaces (the top and the side). I really like your work, however, and my suggestions are just in case you need them. Great job!
